Student Reach International has many volunteers across Canada. Coordinating campaign, initiatives and development are various committees. Below, you can read about what each committee is responsible for and who is a member of that committee.

Stand Up

The Stand Up Committee is responsible for public speaking, making presentations, running workshops and developing youth into leaders. Stand Up advocated for SRI’s campaigns and encourages youth to Reach In, Reach Out and Reach Beyond. Find out more about Stand Up.

IMUMA Development

The IMUMA Development Committee is responsible for the overall planning of development at the OVC Centre in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. This committee’s goal is to develop and income project that will sustain IMUMA without external support by 2012. Find out more about IMUMA Development.

Reach Lesotho

Reach Lesotho is the inaugural education program that will launch in September of 2009. Reach Lesotho involves students learning about development, poverty, HIV/AIDS, etc. and volunteering in Lesotho in 2011.

Box of Hope

The Box of Hope Committee is responsible for the development of the campaign and overall management of it. Members of this committee advocate for the Bracelet of Hope Campaign and support schools currently involved. Find out more about Box of Hope.

IMUMA Campaign

Mosquitoes Suck Tour

The Mosquitoes Suck Tour Committee coordinates outreach entertainment shows at secondary schools. This committee is responsible for advocating, managing and developing the tour while supporting UNICEF’s Spread the Net Campaign. Find out more about the MST Tour.
