Stand Up has worked hard to develop workshop programs that inform, motivate and engage students. Workshops are an accumulation of interactive activities, which can span from an hour to a day long.

Students are first encouraged to learn about themselves through activities that are designed in intriguing interest. These activities question priorities and begin to challenge social norms in the Western world. Students are then given examples of how students are reaching out. Some workshops include designing a petition and collecting signatures. Lastly, our workshops explain the meaning of Reach Beyond, pushing through the brick walls that are simply in place so we can prove how badly we want to break through. Workshops are always designed specific to the group of students. They can be run for a variety of ages and for various durations. We encouage teachers to be involved in the planning process for their school's workshop.

We firmly believe that to be able to learn about other people and help them, we must first be able to learn about ourselves.
